[edit]Should it not be pointed out that Richard Todd was also present with John Howard on D-Day.
The obitary says he died on May 5, 2000, while the article says May 5, 1999... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.111.97.126 (talk) 16:58, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Improvements
[edit]I think this article is close to B class standard. It just needs a couple more citations and a little more information and I think that it will be there. I've added what citations I could, but there are still a couple more needed, I feel. In regards to information, I believe that in the later life section, there should be a sentence about Major Howard's death. As it is it is not really mentioned, just the date in the introduction. A single sentence would probably suffice and would serve to round out the article, in my opinion. When this has been done, please request a reassessment at WP:MHA. Cheers. - Is there a better photo that could be used? Currently there is no photo of the subject at all, and while the flag being used illustrates the unit Howard is associated with, it does not really illustrate the article very well. As it is a fair use image, too, I suspect that it might be being used a bit too much, but I'm not an copyright guru so I won't take issue on this. Can anyone help with finding a photo of Major Howard that we can use? — AustralianRupert (talk) 02:53, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- I will see if I have any suitable family photos that can be used Jacob Eyres (talk) 21:06, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
